Méribel is the largest of the Three Valleys resorts, made up of several hamlets all of which are connected via regular bus services. There are also frequent public buses to Val Thorens and Courchevel via Moutiers.
Airport bus services to Moutiers and Méribel
Below is information on getting to Moutiers from the airport if you haven't booked a transfer in advance. The closest bus station to Méribel is in Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the mountain. This is also where you will alight if you are coming by train. Buses from the nearest airports usually stop at Moutiers, from where you can catch a connecting bus to Méribel.
- Lyon airport to Moutiers buses operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the winter season and take around 3h15 to get to Méribel, also changing at Moutiers on the way. They operate once a day on Fridays and Sunday and four times a day on Saturdays.
- Grenoble to Moutiers buses operate on Saturdays and Sundays in winter and are scheduled to meet arriving flights. It takes around 2h to 2h30 to get to Moutiers from this airport, where you can pick up a connecting bus into Méribel.
- Geneva airport to Moutiers buses operate every day in winter, with eight buses on Saturdays, four on Sundays and three on all the other days of the week. This route takes around 2h to Moutiers and a further 45 minutes to one hour to get up to Méribel centre.

Meribel local buses
Méribus is the free bus service which runs regularly from 07:15 to 00:30, seven days a week, during the winter and summer seasons.
There are four lines:
- Line A circulates between La Chaudanne, Méribel Village and Les Allues, also taking in the hamlets of Chandon, Le Raffort and Mussillon. This service has frequent buses early morning and late afternoon, but a less frequent service during the day.
- Line B connects the Rond Point and Belvedere every 15 to 20 minutes throughout the day.
- Line C runs between La Chaudanne and the Altiport every 15 minutes.
- Line D connects Méribel centre with Mottaret and Le Hameau.

The villages of Brides les Bains, Les Allues and Le Raffort are all linked to Méribel by the Olympe gondola lift which runs non-stop during the day. Mottaret also has a gondola lift linking the top and bottom of the resort which runs until 19:30.

Meribel regional buses
If you wish to explore a little further afield during your stay, then there are bus services connecting Méribel to Moutiers, the nearest town, from where you can take onward services to the neighbouring ski resorts of Courchevel and Val Thorens.
