A GoPro head-cam attached to Michael Schumacher's helmet, capturing the crucial moment of his accident has been analysed by investigators.

In a press conference this morning at the Albertville courthouse, prosecutor Patrick Quincy has announced:

"The video shows he was travelling at a normal speed for a skier of his level on a such terrain."

"There are 2 minutes of film and we do not see Schumacher going to someone's aid throughout the film."

"There is no element of the video footage that suggests he was helping someone, I would be tempted to say that he went off-piste by choice."

Investigators are still analysing the video footage fro more clues into the accident. Aside from the video footage more information on the accident has been mentioned in the press conference:

"The skis are not the cause of the accident and the bindings are in good condition."

"He scraped a rock on the surface, lost his balance, fell forward and hit his head hit on a rock."

Last night Michael Schumacher  showed a slight improvement but his condition is still critical.
