Meribel Snow Report: 4th March 2014
It’s been a few weeks since I updated my blog because I took a week off to go to London. While I was in London I did two speeches to children at Thomas’s London Day Schools about skiing and chasing your dreams. It was great fun but by the end of the week I was ready to get back out to the mountains for the rest of the season. My season will finish up in March with the British and Scottish Championships in Meribel and Courchevel. Before then I still have a few more races, including the French Championships!

We have had very mixed conditions this week in Courchevel. At the start of the week we had fresh snow and clear skies but on Wednesday the temperature rose and we had quite a bit of rain which made the pistes very hard and icy. Luckily we are looking forward to more snow at the start of the weekend.

Courchevel Video Report : 9th January 2013
Although we haven't had any new snow for a while the pistes are so good at the moment and the weather is so sunny we haven't missed the powder here in Courchevel. That being said we are looking forward to the 20-30cm of new snow which is forecast this weekend . The slopes are much quieter now after the madness of Christmas and New Year but to truly escape take to the air on a parapente or hanglider. If you want to keep your feet on the ground but get the most out of your skiing visit The Boot Lab in Courchevel 1650 for the latest kit.

Every year, when the lifts open, I rush excitedly to the top of the hill, strap into my board and set off for the first run of the new season. The cold, clear air in my nose and the sun on my cheeks I can't keep the smile off my face as the fresh snow creaks under my board. The whole day lies ahead from first lifts to last call. Or it would if I wasn't sweating, panting and massaging the cramp out of my calves at the end of the first run.

Three Valleys Video Report : 6th December 2012
